About World Turtle Day

World Turtle Day, a day dedicated to the most endangered species Turtles and tortoise. The day was founded in year 2000 by American Tortoise Recuse. The sole purpose being educated people and gain respect of the most endangered species.

From years Turtles and Tortoise have fascinate children, and  has also given a message from years that : the slow and steady turtle, whose patient progress always wins out against his fast but feckless competitor.

May is a busy month for turtles as this is the time of the year when they come out of their  winter hibernation and begin their search for mates and nesting areas. Thats the reason why May 23 is designated World Turtle Day.

So celebrate World Turtle Day with some turtle fun with your dear friends, family members and loved ones.
